Meaningful Use To qualify for incentive payments through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services EHR Incentive Programs, eligible providers and hospitals must demonstrate meaningful use of an electronic health record (EHR).
How many incentive payments can I receive per year?The number of individual incentive payments will not exceed one per year, regardless of how many practices or locations at which the individual provides service. Eligible professionals cannot participate in both the Medicare and Medicaid incentive programs. They must choose which program is more beneficial to them.
